href="http://www.matthouldsworth.com/2010/01/posh-beans-on-toast/" >Posh Beans on Toast</a>, I first cooked it for the in-laws and did not have time to take a photograph, however, I did it again the other nigh for Cheryl and myself and thought I would take a couple of photographs to show what it turns out like. This time I served it with some crispy Bacon on the top, you could even add a fried Quail egg to give something a little extra.</p><div

/> 1½oz butter or margarine<br
/> 1 tbsp oil<br
/> 1 onion, peeled and sliced<br
/> 1 red pepper, de-seeded and thinly sliced<br
/> 1 tbsp flour<br
/> 200ml lager<br
/> 150ml chicken stock<br
/> ½ tsp dried thyme<br
/> 1 tsp sugar<br
/> Salt and freshly ground black pepper<br
/> 4 tbsp single cream<br

/> Single Cream<br
/> Hand full of Fresh Coriander</p><p><strong>Instructions:</strong></p><ol><li>Mix the Mango Chutney, Greek Yogurt, Tomato Puree, Garlic, Chilli powder and Garam Masala together in a bowl.</li><li>Dice the Chicken and put into the bowl and mix.</li><li>Leave for at least 30 minutes (the longer the better although place in fridge if leaving for a longer period)</li><li>Put 1 table spoon of oil into a pan or Balti Dish and heat</li><li>Poor the mixture and the chicken into the pan and allow to heat until it is bubbling, Take care to stir as it will easily catch.</li><li>Poor the water into the pan and stir until mixed.</li><li>Put the diced Green Chilli into the mix along with half the Coriander</li><li>Simmer for 10 &#8211; 15 minutes</li><li>Stir in a dash of single cream to taste, this cools the balti so use what ever quantity you want to make it as hot or mild as you like it.</li><li>Stir in the rest of the Coriander</li></ol><p><strong>Serve with:</strong></p><p>Rice, Nan Breads and Poppadoms</p><p>No related posts.</p>]]></content:encoded> <wfw:commentRss>http://www.matthouldsworth.com/2008/10/sweet-and-sour-balti-chicken/feed/</wfw:commentRss> <slash:comments>0</slash:comments> </item> </channel> </rss>
