Some years ago I used Sedo parking quite extensively, at that point I did not know the things I do now about domain names, websites, SEO and Google and I had limited success with the parking on Sedo. Since then I have leaned more towards creating affiliate sites on the domains, however, the problem with this approach is that many of my domains site registered and only listed on my registrars control panel not earning and not getting any search engine exposure.
As I see it I have a couple of options to actually make use of some of the domains I have been purchasing, firstly I can create mini sites on those domains, but again this takes time, or I can go back to Sedo parking.
The problem as I see it with Sedo parking is that the parking sites it creates are duplicated across all sites that are listed on Sedo, yes it does create links that are related to the domain or the keywords that you enter, however there is no facility to add text to the parking page. This would be a simple addition that would allow active domainers to add some unique content to the parking pages and as such rank better in search engines.
This portion of text could be limited to maybe 1000 words and be shown below the links and as such not affecting the position of the links. Technically I do not see that this would be too difficult for Sedo to implement, but it would improve the service considerably.
